Many of us began our careers here as a locums in the clinic and made the easy decision to remain on full-time. Since the pandemic we have operated in a hybrid system seeing patients both in-person and via telehealth. Our team of professional and thoughtful MOA’s provide personalized care to our patients coordinating and arranging a wide range of services including appointment booking, billing, managing referral correspondence, patient flow within the office and making sure that every day “just works”. Under the experienced leadership of our full-time office manager, we enjoy the benefits of an office environment built on mutual respect, integrity and shared common goals and experience. The Comox Medical Clinic was started in 1958 and has steadily grown over the years. In 2005 we designed and built the new clinic building that we currently practice out of. Now with a comfortable reception area, 12 large exam rooms, 2 physician collaboration offices, nursing centre and a staff room complete with kitchen and floor to ceiling windows we have access to a great purpose-built space. The thoughtful patient centered design of each room ensures that the presence of modern office technology never takes away from the experience of personal patient encounters. Every room is fully equipped to take on whatever comes your way and minor surgical procedure trolleys are available to all rooms for quick impromptu suturing, planned skin biopsies, IUD insertions or endometrial sampling.
