After almost 25 years of practicing at both the Comox Medical Clinic and working in acute care at the Comox Valley Hospital its time to start looking at the next chapter. During my years here I have a had the great pleasure of caring for many wonderful children, adults and their families. However, the time to pass that privilege on to someone new is coming.

  • Minimum 3 Months Vacation/Year!

    If you were every worried about getting time off when starting a new practice your worries are over! Taking over my practice comes with a guaranteed minimum of 12 weeks (3 months) of locum coverage/year for you personally over the first two years. No obligation to take that much, but it sure is nice to know you can! Want more? We can definitely work something out!

    Registered Nurse-In-Practice (RN) who provides invaluable patient care and reduced physician workload through direct patient care, answering patient inquiries, MOCA testing, suture removal, wound care, and in house phlebotomy services .

    With personal dedicated office space alongside of the flexibility of in-person and telehealth visits, in combination with the availability of clinic space on mornings, afternoons, and evenings or Saturday’s if desired - goes a long way to getting your practice going just the way you want!

  • Compensation

    The British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP) offers a variety of payment options for BC Family Physicians including the Longitudinal Family Practice model (LFP) which compensates physicians for both time and the number of patients seen daily in addition to a significant annual Panel Payment Fee , a traditional Fee for Service Model (FFS) and an Alternative Salary Payment Model such as the New to Practice Model which is geared towards new graduates

    Additional $20 000 signing bonus may be available to take over my practice for 3 year commitment

    Other incentives may be also available as per the BC Rural Subsidy Agreement

    $10 000 recruitment incentive

    $15 000 (up to) relocation costs

    $7,977 annual retention flat fee

    $2,200 - $ 4,400 Rural CME funding

    $12,800 annual bonus for inpatient care additional to inpatient LFP care fees

    Fee for Service/LFP + 6.93% Premium on all fees for living in such an awesome place.
